~ We Need A Savior ~ ( Prose Poem ) ~O~ Sometimes when we think so much about tomorrow we get so concerned n stressed about it. In minutes or in a split of a second, we might get so worried and so full of fears. We tend to think very negative most of the times for events and things that may not even ever take place in our life and we even forget at times all the promises that our very loving Heavenly Father has given us thru His Holy Word. Its our human nature it seems to make more of the future than of the present that we are actually living. When we are assaulted with all these negative thoughts we forget sometimes that most of these things we worry so much about it will not even ever take place in our life or lifetime in the future. God promises us that He shall never leave us no matter what we do in our life. No one knows truly the future better than God.He knows in advance all our decisions and choices and all the desires of our hearts. He knows it all and I mean all, and can read our mind all the time. Nothing is ever hidden from God. This is the victory that has overcome the world - our Faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. ~O~ Dorian Petersen Potter aka ladydp2000 copyright@2021
December.09.2021 So now Faith, Hope, and Love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is Love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) -'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV) -For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this World, against spiritual wickedness in the high places. Ephesians 6:12 (NIV) -What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Matthew 16:26 (NIV) -2 Timothy 3-5 - King James Version (KJV) 1. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. 3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. 4. Traitors ,heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. 5. Having a firm of godliness, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. - HOW TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR - A salvation prayer, known by many Christians as a "Sinners Prayer," is a prayer one would say to repent from sin, ask God for forgiveness, confess belief in Jesus Christ, and accept him as Lord and Savior. Saying a salvation prayer is the first step in your personal relationship with God. If you believe the Bible offers truth about the way of salvation, but you have not taken the step to become a Christian, it's as simple as praying this prayer. You can pray by yourself, using your own words. There is no special formula. Just pray from your heart to God, and he will save you. If you feel lost and don’t know what to pray, here’s a salvation prayer that you can follow: Dear Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that You died on the cross for me to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to You now and ask you to take control of my life; I give it to You. From this day forward, help me to live every day for You and in a way that pleases You. I love you, Lord, and I thank You that I will spend all eternity with You. Amen. If you have just prayed this prayer, congratulations!:)) You have received Jesus Christ as your Savior and have made the best decision you will ever make—one that will change your life forever! 'Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.' - Mark Twain- ~Author's Notes: Abortion is MURDER! Please people, Do Not Kill a Baby!!! ~O~ - Thought Of The Day - ~ JESUS CHRIST THE SIN BEARER ~ - Matthew 26:26-27 - The cross is so common in our culture that most people don't think twice when they see one on a church. But unfortunately, familiarity with the symbol can actually get in the way of understanding what it truly means. So let's stop to consider how Jesus became the bearer of sin. We begin with Scripture written long before Jesus was born. Genesis, the first book of the Bible, explains how man chose to disobey God. Because Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, their descendants are all born under the curse of death, having inherited a sinful "flesh" nature. In Leviticus, God's laws for the Jewish nation included observance of Yom Kippur, the day each year when the Israelites fasted, prayed, and sacrificed an animal to atone for sin. In essence, the goat would bear the wrongs done by the people and suffer the penalty that divine justice required. Centuries later, Isaiah prophesied that a Savior would atone for transgression once and for all (Isa. 53:5, 8; Heb. 7:27). After another 700 years, John the Baptist identified Jesus as the Lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world (John 1:29). The Messiah had come, though He was totally different from what the people expected—so much so, in fact, that they rejected Him and requested His crucifixion. In all, God gave 613 laws through Moses. But none of us can perfectly follow even the Ten Commandments. In fact, one reason He gave us these rules is to show us our need for a Savior (Ps. 19:7; Gal. 3:24). Meditate on those commands (Ex. 20:1-17), asking God to speak to your heart. By Dr. Charles F. Stanley ~O~ ~Today's Reflection~ -Salvation is for today, SEEK THE LORD while He may be found. No one is promised tomorrow. "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." - Abraham Lincoln -
