was she beautiful?

Cleopatra was beautiful They say But, what is beauty Nobody tells. The "most beautiful" may not be So beautiful as the other one The beauty is nowhere except Inside the one who discovers it Is it then a self-reflection? Difficult to affirm Seems something more, Looks like a source of ecstasy See the flowers, breeze and The setting sun Are they not beautiful? Oblivious of the beholder, Their beauty oozes itself Beauty is thus a purpose per se. Beauty is truth embodied Dispersed everywhere From mountain tops to ocean floors Only at times, eyes discover A trait distinct from the whole That becomes beautiful. Eternal like time and space Emitting cosmic consciousness Manifests itself as beauty When it meets the seeking eye But it always exists, lies hidden Unless seen
