Voice
My pup is such a fluffy lump
Cute and sweet and quiet plump.
He chews, he plays, wees on the mat
And tends to annoy the kitty cat.
He yaps and yaps growls and yaps
And likes to sleep on my lap.
He loves to play with his favourite toy
My cushions he'd chew and destroy.
The yaps and yaps are now barks
His growls are deeper like his bark.
His voice has changed as he's grown
Deeper in sound; adult in tone.
Now full grown and older in years
He still has his floppy pup ears.
His puppy voice has now long gone
But still does his squeaky pup yawn.
He guards, loves games, but not a bath
Does funny things that make me laugh.
He's slowing down as his age creeps up
But he will always be my yap, yap pup.
