Visions of You
Visions of You
I long for you now, in mornings’ light,
Outside my window, oceans’ first sight,
Your warm supple skin, on silken thread,
The rapture of night, a soft morning bed.
We awaken and listen, to natures call,
The unending tides, that rise and fall,
Your breath, a gentle summers breeze,
A moments touch, a new day to seize.
Soft warm hands, the first light of day,
Our limbs entangled, so softly you lay,
The lapping of waves, a lulling sound,
Two wanton hearts, not earthly bound.
Where is this retreat, of love by the sea,
This magical place, we seek you and me?
Alas, just a fantasy, that lives in my head,
This vision of you, these words left unsaid.
