Verbal Intercourse 2: My Life

I've danced beside The Devil, pale moonlight we're toe to toe, the embers of my life emit a warm and somber glow, which lights the darkest corners of a place inside my mind, a twitch defines my eye and I'm resigned to think of times, When life was oh so simple, go to school, do work and eat, time changed the thrill of victories to urgently defeat, the dreams I chose to seek fell by the wayside to the street, the wind beneath my wings became the Timbs beneath my feet. A couple lady freaks emblazed my steak, their gravy sweet, with mashed potato lovin in the hot and hazy heat, I thought I was the man but was a man who claimed to be, what changed all that? The coming of my precious baby G. I've flirted with the outskirts of a suicide attempt, it couldn't have been that bad you're thinking but in my defense, my mental fortitude was not as strong as is today, I used to lay back with a spliff and long for better days. Well some things change but stay the same this thang is not a game, my Milton Bradley antics kept my mental slaved in chains, and though I aged with grace it seemed my actions stayed the same, I closed my eyes, stopped looking, guess that's when the angels came. The knowledge I possessed it grew by tenfold overnight, I learned to love 1 woman and just how to hold her tight, my queen to be, she seemingly arrived by oversight, I pledge for my whole life to never tell her no at night. I cut off family members cause they all were tryna trip, I'd rather die inside a ditch than love those lying tricks, I'd rather guide a life beside my wife with iron grip, than share my blood with individ'uals dyin for a hit. Attention junkies pumping massive venom in the air, debase my name with swears cause in the long run I don't care, There's 1 God who will judge me for the way I've handled strife, my words will sex you up it's verbal intercourse, my life.
