Ursula T Bear

On sorrow's path, my grief's relentless storm. The absence of my dog, these flowing tears. The love we shared throughout those many years, brings heartfelt mem'ries soft and truly warm. Now here, a presence soft and gentle, too. A Teddy Bear so kind with soft brown eyes looks on to cheer me past my fraught "good byes." A Teddy Bear whose presence makes life new. A substitute for Barkley, NEVER, sure-- but Teddy in her presence comforts me, as I stroke her light-brown fuzzy fur.

Oh, Carol Louise, my heart aches with you for your loss of Barkley! Your sorrow is expressed so beautifully but your happiness in finding "Ursula T Bear" as you heal. We lost Paddy in March but by Mother's Day had a Wheaten puppy, Mulligan, bounce, literally, into our lives. Still miss Paddy but Mulligan seems to be starting to fill his shoes as he sleeps next to me and follows me everywhere! Blessings of comfort for your broken heart.

Pets aren't just pets are they? They become part of your life - and part of you. We felt the same when we lost our rescue greyhound Jack. Know that Barkley had a great life. Cheers - Gary
