Upon a Bed of Petals
Upon a bed of petals I rest my weary head.
A pillow made of fragrant flowers, soft and sweetly shed.
I came upon this lovely site on just the perfect day.
When I was filled with sorrow and life had turned to gray.
A chance to gaze up at the sky and rest for just a while.
This most delightful scent has given reason for a smile.
And as I watch the puffy clouds all slowly move in sync.
My worries seem to drift away as they appear to shrink.
I’ll lie upon this perfumed bed until the soft winds blow.
And carry these soft petals on its wings from down below.
Until that time I’ll linger in aromatic bliss.
Bestowed so very gently by nature’s gentle kiss.
