Uncynced
I know you don’t consider me
Part of the family of yours
Your Christmas pie I cannot see
Cause where I’m at is juxtaposed
To almost anything you are
Familiar with, my darling love
I am as near, as you’re far
And as below, as you’re above
Uncynced, we come to say hello
Good morning, happy day, goodnight
And what’s the news, it’s so and so
But now this picture has no sight
And here I sit when you’re asleep
And then you come, when I’m away
Waves hit the beach, make shallows deep
Some boats are bumping boards in sway.
