Two Minds

A hill to climb, a path to follow Upward, toward a sky so hollow With small pumps, my admiration doth grow As I rap my global flow. No trudging through its mud and dirt No burning lungs, no aching hurt But hark, a spirit of joy and calm As I turn my back and clinch my palm. A rough and rocky path for today With a sugary foothold, no artificial sway Glory, Glory, until I stand On mountain high, my own diabolical land. And so I stay, to catch my air, And grasp out at my worldly fair So small and far away this lair But in this light, two minds will pair.
