Trust and Obey
Lord, I placed it in your hands,
And stepped aside to wait.
Then, when nothing happened quickly
I forgot that you never fail, and are never late.
I took the burden back again,
Though it was too heavy for me to bear.
I worried and fretted all night long,
Until my soul was almost in despair.
Then, I remembered that You love me,
That my problems are not too hard for you.
I cast all these cares on You again.
I can’t solve those problems, what else can I do?
You said, “Cast your cares on me,”
“For I care for you.”
I will trust You and obey You,
And I know You will see me through.
