Today In Paradise
Today was a good day - not even a fight,
Today you didn't chastise me - how's that?
It's all in the mix, I can engineer, play to
the bloody gallery - I tell you not to do.
So I try not to, time's running out chaps,
we"re not babes any more or are we not?
Someone said: 'When are you going to grow up?'
We never will, we don't want to do we?
Our children keep us young, it's their world,
but they have to realize it's ours too,
and eveything is governed by what we do,
my dad said: ' No one should play with your private parts.'
We look with incredulity - who are we to give
such instruction,
why should we suffer criticism day after day??
