To Recover Again
The rain taps on my roof, tapping thoughts to mind.
In this soggy gray filled day, still much to be grateful for.
I think about the rainbows I have previously seen.
One in the desert, across the dry sandy stretch of land.
Another from the top of a green mountain straight into a cloud, so grand.
I have captured photos of these stunning colorful sights.
To never forget the moments that were once there, to come back.
Like anything in life lost, to discover later, to recover again.
