To Raida
You have not seen what I have seen.
I have seen a girl
getting trampled with our spiteful words.
I have seen a girl
with her shields of soft nature
trying to cover all her peers
from getting blamed just like her.
It was her day, it was her show.
She was trying so hard
to keep everything like a gentle river's flow.
And we forgot how sweet, mild
and obedient she was so,
instead we kept nailing her
only with her mistakes.
But at the end of the day
when she took the stage,
she was a heavenly embodiment
of bright and sparkling light with laughter,
as if stars were laughing with her!
So restless and happy on that stage
just like the Tinker Bell,
it was a sight a thousand times
you can tell.
She was returning love and respect
to everyone, even the ones
who have hurt her with words
all day long....
most of the times uncalled for
and totally wrong.
That forgiving young girl on stage
forgetting all our vice....
showed me how to be a real loving,
forgiving human being....
and there was tears in my eyes.
