To Love In Weakness Or Grow Strong

In those tender hours before the dawn I cry that I'm his tragic pawn. He shreds my senses into tatters then squashes all the hope that matters. Yet I feel such a magical love from him like he's sent from above. My heartstrings play each song for him. He fills my soul right to the brim. Now I have made my tough decision. He'll find me gone when he has risen. Single and strong is what I'll be. I grabbed the reins-set myself free! written 1/16/2014 for contest Three or More Stanzas and Thoughts On Same Idea" P>S> This is not my real life LOL !!

Deb, excellent twist at the end and good emotion. Good contrast between the stanzas. Congratulations on your win. Thanks much for entering my contest.

I great poem about finding strength to do something you should but don't want to. I like the "P.S." So many people assume our poems are about us. Most of mine are made up situations.

I really enjoyed reading this awesome write here this morning my friend! I especially liked the key line of the poem, "Single and strong is what I'll be." that line created the final blow to your poem, as 'you' completed your goal! What a fantastic piece, such a grand poem! Great Work!!
