Tis To Laugh

Tis to laugh I heard someone say Methinks they were referring to me Started out laughing many years ago And I'm still overcome with glee! It all began when I was six Watching Bugs and Elmer Fudd The Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote The adventures of Maggie Muggs! I still watch Saturday morning cartoons But now I must stay in my room For some silly reason unknown to me The docs think I'm looney-toons! They've got me strapped in a jacket It's restrictive and overly tight What's more, I prefer one with some colour This one's just plain old white! © Jack Ellison 2013

Dragon says they'll deliver glitter and rhine stones from the store... He should know...They won't let him in (the store)... bring everything to him... With that tail... He's like a bull in a china shop... He says you can have a matching jacket and shoes when you're done!... I don't think he gets it... LOL Poor Dragon... Hasn't seen enough of the world yet... To understand most things... LOL... But we're working on that... ultimately to the worlds' chagrin...

You got me laughing out loud, a straight jacket, ha ha ha, I can just imagine you within a bright pink jacket, sorry my friend, I just thought that to be funny! You are so hilarious Jack, I love it when you write this type of poetry, it's my favorite! I really enjoyed reading this enlightening poem this morning, such a delightful piece!
