Timeless Fun
This old man he played one
for all his life he’d had some fun.
This old man he played two
living where his dad went to.
This old man he played three
wrapped in special family.
This old man he played four
the world became his own front door.
This old man he played five
and learned the way to still survive.
This old man he played six
and also learned himself some tricks.
This old man he played seven
and learned to turn hell into heaven.
This old man he played eight
and found new things at every gate.
This old man he played nine
and grew up knowing he’d do fine.
This old man he played ten
and stood apart from other men.
This young man’s now sixty nine
but Army Brats don’t age with time!
