Time Endless
an orchid-clad child
with sticky sweet saccharine dreams,
infinite
yet indefinite in her belonging
awakened from the possibility of dream,
heal me, she cries out
to deaf ears. She is just an ornament,
a cat with a jewelled eye,
mourning for the twilight,
where there had been fires, now lay ashes.
It's a sadness that creeps over her
as the moon upon the sun,
the dawn in her is dead, and shall remain ever so for eternity.
She lies in the forest-a graveyard, littered with
dead bodies which the living feed upon
carcasses scattered across the ground, the
once proud gentle giants now fallen,
slain in an endless battle
against a foe they cannot fight,
lakes-smelling like open wounds,
and rocks grimaced in pain,
writhing in agony
she screams out
will no one hear her cry?
