Through The Passage of Time
Waking up in the light of day,
Staring at the walls,
Hoping all is ok.
The nightmares show all my visions,
So that I am able to make a decision.
All those dreams that I remembered,
Showed my energy that was centered.
All the memories of those different times,
That I saved you from your crimes.
When I needed you the most,
You left like a ghost,
As if you disappeared,
Just like I feared.
Without a blink of an eye,
Now I know why you lied.
As I look in my mind,
Through the passage of time,
I hear the chimes,
Of the timekeepers' designs,
Of the measurement of our life and times.
I see the hourglass of the sands,
As our life flies by.
