They

They make you think it's about color. They make you think it's about race. They make you think it's about religion. They make you think it's about creed. They'll tell you that it's the this or that, They'll swear that you're part of them, They promise you the promised land, They'll take you to the protest party. They have your back in all your fears, They'll have your front in front of friends, They'll take you to the signup sheet. They love to hate the ones you love. They tell you it's the only way. They never do and swear they did, Then call you up to state the facts. They call their friends with code words. And it looks so black and white and And it seems so have and have not. But they keep the secret away from you And me. They keep the money on top.
