Themottledmoonthesurgingsea
Behind your cloak
I stretch to see,
the mottled moon,
the surging sea.
The mast is creaking,
straining tall,
above the deck,
below the squall.
In your arms
I feel secure,
knowing our love
will endure,
every hurricane
we face,
guarded by your
strength and grace.
