The Wait In Every Vowel
Listen to poem:
A Angel, I’ve spent every waking day without you thinking about a day that
we will never be apart, a time, when these days will be but forgotten
memories. The moon will wax and wane as we draw breathes, everyday
building up to that one day, when you my love will be mine.
E Eventually, you’ll know me and I will you. When you look at me, you will
see me for me. There will be no erring of your thoughts. You will not ask
why we have met because you have seen me in your mind’s eye and
know that in this you cannot falter. This is no error.
I I will love you till I dance at deaths door and beyond. You will hear the
clouds as they roll by and feel the wind on your cheek and know that it is
me. There is no time and no matter that could ever separate me from
you. For I have waited for you and you waited, unwaveringly, for me.
O Overjoyed is how I feel when I think of you, yet you ruin for the world.
You pervade my every thought, stealing me from the now, and one day
you will know it give me your crimson smile. Unrivaled by any other.
U Undoubtedly, I will find you and I will not forget. I have the fervor to
continue and though your love and light seem to evade me, I can feel you
drawing near. So I will not be disheartened, no I will find other ways to
pass the time.
My hope is that someday you will see this work and revel in it, and know it was meant to find you. That it is still meant for you.
