The Strength To Forgive
I could sit there and dwell,
on everything people have done,
I could count all the times,
that I have been walked on.
But It's not worth it to me,
to hold an unforgiving grudge,
for whats done is done,
and God is our final judge.
I refuse to feed anger,
I will have no part,
in any hurtful game,
made to attack the heart.
Only when you forgive,
can you move on,
you have to let go,
for the pain to be gone.
I'll forgive my foes,
so I can be freed,
because in a hateful life,
no one can succeed.
