The Squirrel

The Squirrel skipped slightly along the overgrown green grass not caring, not knowing of war of disease of evil of doom while I sit on the bus with people who know of Academia of Pain of bills to high of food supply to low of warfare never ending of Hope nowhere to be found enough to cause the mind to wonder watching, the Squirrel crawl up the nearby tree smiling at me with those eyes eyes of freedom eyes of natural hope eyes that saw the world but was free from it all I both admired and hated him for it
