Water in liquid form
is shapeless; it flows and crashes
like Bruce Lee once said.
Impossible to shape by hand;
though it mimics the shape
of what its poured into
be it a cup, a teapot, a bowl,
an ice tray, to name a few.
However, water in solid form,
frozen into ice below
0 degrees centigrade,
becomes whatever shape
one wants it to be.
Some ice sculptures
take the shape of castles,
animals; birds like owls
Water in the form of snow
is tantamount to wet clay
in the palm of one's hand.
One could mould fallen snow
into a variety of shapes;
a ball, a bell, a triangle.
Isn't it amazing
how malleable water is?
