The Selfless Pix-Faerie
The tiny pix-faerie downed all of the poisoned apple and orange juice, under a wood.
She drank the tainted broth, secretly, rapidly, and totally quickly, so keen.
Knowing it had to be devoured by a Pix-faerie willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good.
She took one loving look around at her sleeping comrades, then got so totally sickly, turned green.
The Pix-Fae- King had sent this little test, to discover which pix-faerie was the most selfless, and would
Drink the poisoned broth, to save the rest of the Pix-faerie clan, so he acted quickly, and came clean,
And married the selfless Pix- faerie, who was amazed to be alive, even more so to be queen!
