Listen to poem:
Kids say you're bad, "But that's all lies!" She stares at me, her evil eyes, Ruler taps desk, taps away hard, Audacious hands, face that is scarred, Years of no oils, lotions and scents, Says, "That's Jezebel", she resents, All at their desks, bell tolls just once, Roll, three are absent, she announce, Mrs. Torkelson, self-assured, Speaks with command, while all are moored, No sound heard, listened intently, Voice ice cold, none knew differently, Right answers only, nothing less, How that happens, we take a test, Loud, she says wrong or no, no, no, Young clock watchers, when will we go, After school, parents collect us, Like Jekyll and Hyde, she adjust, In her black dress, she makes a smile, Then hugs me, that is not her style, She is not a Jew, but Gentile, And, I am her, Philistine child.

My Grandson as bright as heck loathes school and teachers. I understand; few are excellent and truly outstanding. I am a retired one. Nothing like the one you described. Plenty are way too bossy. Now watch the teachers here jump on me..LOL. I preferred the company of kids over teachers. Kids are awesome and should be paid to be forced to attend school and endure boredom for 12 years. Congrats on your teacher quality that espies the kids more than your fellow workers--I admire your patience Panagiota, Aloha wk
