The river
a place to contemplate creation's plan.
The river
a place to question the existence of woman and man.
It is there where one can leave city behind
it is there where one can rid creations of the mind.
Its shore invites one to see the unknown
to find inspiration and a comforting home.
And while by the riverbank
a mind becomes still, completely blank.
An end for meaning and a reason to be
for by peering at its running water, clarity is what one can see.
The river
displaying creation’s plan.
The river
a place to find purpose for woman and man.
