The Question
The question
I have always been comfortable in my skin
Knowing who I am being all in
As a male who is attracted to females
But not meaning relationships have never failed
When I think about other ones
Who don’t have clarity from when life has begun
How they wonder at their place in the world
And decisions that are made and positions held
These people are in the minority I am told
Although some stand out quite bold
The world makes judgements on us all
And we live with this in its final calls
So gender is one of these decisions made
Whether we like it or not it won’t fade
But what you call yourself should not be a joke
One hundred genders relates a system that is broke
Being stuck on pronouns creates a fuss
Is that what is wanted to make a case enough
I would think there are better ways to make a point
Then to do this to themselves a martyr to anoint.
