The Peace Behind Ethnicity, Part Two Revised Dec 21 2024
so then
my grandmother asks
why I sit in my grandfather's tree
she asks me
she asks me about chaos
what that might look like to me
but not everyday
and not everyday chaos

that my ethnicity is somehow not connected to peace
and how could that be
so here I go
sitting in my grandfather’s tree..
waiting for him
watching for him
