They are more vital Than a Wall Street stock-broker And WAY under-paid... But then (One would guess) They would teach for wrong reasons It's a true calling... (For my dear and dedicated daughter...Lynette!)

Oh Yeah... And Then People, Wonder, Why The Kids Ain't Learning Nuthin' (Uh I skipped English Class LOL !) Seriously, Tho' A Good Teacher is Hard Pressed, These Days, but if they love what they do... they go home rich with satisfaction... I'll Always Remember my English Teacher, Mrs. Franks... Her love of her job shone thr and that's why I Love Poetry... MoonBee

OH BOY...do ever I agree!! My two oldest children are High School teachers....they devote so much energy and care to their students, and personal after school hours, the list goes on and on of the extra effort they put into this underpaid profession...but thank God for great teachers!!
