The Miracle
instantly the feeling changes and I start breathing fast
oh no don’t do this, I swear I won’t get upset
I got to try and keep myself together
Jesus its getting worst I’m starting to sweat
I promised myself I would not be drawn back to that state
but why did he cross the line and mention my mother
I love my family, my friends for being a part of my life
but don’t disrespect the woman I love like no other
I hated when someone mentions her in an argument
but I said come on I’m strong those are just words
but I don’t think Mohammad Ali could do better
the first punch had me seeing nothing birds
I laid there on my back for awhile thinking what to do next
then I jumped up quickly on my feet
I quickly pulled my gun from my waist and pointed it
because I swore to myself I would never take defeat
what I am about to say to you, you just might not believe
but whilst standing there the lord spoke into my ears
and reminded me of the seventh commandment thou shall not kill
I only felt when the gun drop from my hands and I broke into tears
the man stood there realizing a miracle had took place
quickly looked up, fell to his knees and started to pray
remember someone more powerful directs your life
and no matter who you are he takes control any day
so do good my friends and walk with the lord thy god
do not be tricked by the devil and in the end be slaved
but instead read the lords teaching and do good brethren
its time to repent of your dirtiest sins and be saved
