The Mice Plague

A fat cat from Ararat Ate too many mice and there she sat, I have gorged myself I do confess, My stomach is in great distress. All I can do is sit and stare As mice pass by without a care, There's only so much one cat can do, Perhaps the farmer might need two. -more poems like this can be found at: kidscomedypoetry.com.au

G'day John... The house cats are too fussy these days John. I did see a mouse plague once and the cats had no interest after a day or two and that was way up north of Ararat. Thanks John - Lindsay

Hello Lindsay, I was thinking of a mouse plague in the country when i wrote it. Before i went into teaching i was a full time farmer. I am glad Ararat rhymes with cat. Thanks again Lindsay for reading my poems. Kind regards---John
