The Love of Music
Though a man I must be
Forever shallow in thought
Never again, shall I speak to you
Never again, shall I talk
For a heart caged inside me
I shall forever witness my shadow stalk
With will of strength fading
For a thought of mine, degrading
You're voice so elegant and sweet
A dear old melancholy thought
I keep along
As my ears listen to the notes
A rythm within my soul
Playing along
I need not talk
For might and mind of men or mice
We sing along
As gentle as a breeze, I walk
Soundless in nature
Crying in the knots
Forever fastened to me
Your pain so beautiful
Held me, locked
So forgiving it felt
Or is it not
As God warned me
I must refrain, my friend
I loved you dearly
Goodbyes always straining
I must not talk
