The Last Day Tax Filer
The Last Day Tax Filer
By Elton Camp
You’ve done it this year again
Let’s see that sheepish grin
In February you were gonna do it
Somehow never got around to it
And another fact that you now rue
You knew a refund sure to be due
“I should do it today,” you said
But Facebook needed to be read
Besides, the deadline’s far away
So you plan to file on another day
A series of excuses like these
Now it’s the sword of Damocles
Above your head by a single hair
To wait any longer you don’t dare
So read complex directions galore
Until you can’t stand it anymore
Follow what I always do
It’s TurboTax to the rescue
Just hope you don’t have to frown
By finding that your WiFi’s down
