What is meant by smothered is going into defense mode, A zone where it’s now hard to communicate In any rational way with each other. The honest man is many times patient To the point that he feels he’s receiving pure hatred, Because dishonest people feel that when they learn, they also somehow lose, Not understanding that learning is the key that leads to truth.
