The Happy Pumpkin
I found you in the market
Your eyes lit up with a glow
I sat you on the pouch
Putting on a show
With ghosts and goblins
Laughing and screaming
The wind flicking with eyes gleaming
Trick or treat was said
Then faces of delight
With doorbells ringing
And children singing
It was a Hallow night
Witches, Vampires and more
Came knocking at the door
Jumping through piles of leaves
Crossing streets for candy treats
Along came Freddy
With swords for fingers
Then Jason came by
With a mask of horror
All running by my flickering eyes
Then darkness came upon my light
I came back to life
On Thanksgiving Day
Then they gutted me out
becoming a pumpkin pie
Then a turkey flew by
The table was set
A touchdown was made
All seats were filled
And a prayer was said
Then the turkey was gobbled down
I felt whip cream
Upon my brow
I knew this was
The End
