The Gathering
lavender fields of delicate spray
Bloom and then begin to sway
As morning lifts to greet the day
With shades of purple on display.
And nectar for the buzzing bees
An occasional breeze to dry the leaves
And present with a peaceful scent
For those with baskets or paper and pen.
