The Firefly Forest
As I gaze upon the majestic moon,
She walks abreast in her silver shoon.
To and fro I stroll and see,
A sublime glimmer on the teak wood tree.
As the tranquil woods were calling me,
I sprinted ahead, in a sense of glee.
Hither and thither I wandered about,
Until a figure was spotted, ghastly and stout.
Slowly and softly, forward I crouched,
Just a little bit of jostle, among the bushes of ouch.
In a trice, to my surprise,
I see a lambent glow amidst my eyes.
Oh! What a beautiful sight,
To see the woods ignite with light.
Still this memory, lies deep in my hearts core,
Of a firefly forest by the lakeshore.
