The Faces of Courage

What does courage in the face of danger look like? Yellow caution lines warn of turbelent curves Each moment of their determination calms nerves. Walks of strength even thru the strike. Like the variety in a flower garden, are the brave. From round, square, and oval are the caretakers. United by the strength in the eyes of these partakers. Their mission is to save. Minute by minute, they unfreeze their steps. Testing, scanning and watching those in need. Sharing the gift of company to those they feed. From early dawn, to late dusk in repeated reps. Looking thru the glass of uncertainty. Gracefully letting the sunrise light give hope. When night cones, the twinkling stars still give hope. A swell of gratitude to essential people a certainty.

A difficult subject to do justice to. 70 years of seeing so many brave actions tells me that. You have done well here and think people you write of would approve. You kept your thoughts from running away on you. Regards David in NZ
