A continuation of another poem I wrote earlier this year, "Humanity". The answer to the Eternal question is: Yes, I believe in God, because when I look at how Biblical theology and science intertwine, I can't not believe.
Biblical Numerology
- 3 - The number of divinity/divine perfection.
- Most prominently manifested in the Trinity (Father, Son, Spirit).
- Three patriarch.
- God described as "Holy, Holy, Holy" in Isaiah 6. Triple repetition signifying the ultimate superlative.
- 8 - The number of resurrection or new beginnings. The start of a new cycle after the number of completion (7).
- The number 8 in Hebrew is associated with the word "chai", which means life.
- During Noah's day (the Great Flood), 8 people were preserved in the ark, symbolizing the new beginning for humanity.
- Jewish male children are circumcised on the 8th day, as a mark of entry to the covenant.
- Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week, or the 8th day if you're counting from the previous Sunday.
- In Koine Greek (the language of the New Testament), Jesus's name adds up to 888.
- 26 - Not as explicitly emphasized in the Scriptures as other numbers, but considered very significant because it is the gematria of the personal name of God: YHVH = Yod (10) + He (5) + Vav (6) + He (5) = 26.
- 30 - The age of ministry. Priests start their duties at age 30. Jesus and David also took up their call at a similar age.
Scientific Theory
- Color vision theory: Human color vision manifests in trichromacy, i.e. three independent channels for conveying color information: red, green, and blue. Subsequently, most color spaces are organized in three tuples to reflect trichromacy: RGB, HSV, L*a*b*, etc.

Scientifically speaking, there is no such thing as a pure black pigment. Every physical object that is not a black hole reflects light to some degree. The closest thing to pure black pigment is the nanoparticle coating Vantablack, which still reflects about 0.035% of light--not 0%.
- Strong force: The strongest of all four fundamental forces in the universe (gravity, electromagnetic force, strong force, weak force). The strong force is responsible for binding quarks into protons and neutrons, and also binds the protons and neutrons into atomic nuclei (which otherwise would repel each other due to the positive electric charges of the protons).
- Protons and neutrons are made of three quarks each. Protons have 2 up quarks and 1 down quarks, while neutron has 1 up quarks and 2 down quarks.
- Color charge: The strong force is governed by the theory of quantum chromodynamics (QCD), named as such because quarks come in three types of charges--labeled "red", "green" and "blue", just like the primary colours of light. In protons and neutrons, each of the three quarks carry different-coloured charges, which combine to form a colour-neutral (or white) charge. Only colour-neutral particles can freely exist in the universe.
- Stellar fusion: Stars (including our sun) produce energy by fusing elements in their core, e.g. hydrogen to helium, helium to carbon, and so on. Stellar fusion meets its endpoint when it reaches iron, because fusing elements heavier than iron consumes energy than releases it. Once the star's core is full of iron, it begins to run out of energy, resulting in the star's collapse. This results in a supernova explosion, and the scattered iron clump together to form planets.
- Iron: Designated as the most stable element in the universe, with atomic number 26, mass number 56 (26 protons + 30 neutrons), and a binding energy per nucleon of ~8.8 meV. Iron makes up the cores of the Earth and other planets, and is a crucial component of hemoglobin in blood. Hemoglobin is the protein that carries oxygen and carbon dioxide.
- Oxygen: Element number 8. An essential element for cellular respiration, a building block for water, and one of three components required for combustion to.build fire. Thus, it is essential the sustenance of most living organisms.

The coloured space refracts the Creator's essence—
A vision soaked in palettes with threefold lens—
RGB, HSV, or Lab—three in dimension, yet one in hue;
In every shade and gradation, His light shines through.
There are no depths from which He does not gleam
In blackest nights, faint sparks can still be seen—
A triune of quarks swirl in quantum lore:
Chromodynamic sparks weld together the atoms' cores.
Galaxies ignite where the elements unite
As trichrome charge converges to white
'Til eons pass and the stars cave in
And remnant dusts collide to birth new kin
What wondrous run, what state of art—
The world we tread on beats with an iron heart—
Fe, atom number 26, is a sacred sign,
To the tetragrammaton, YHVH, His name divine.
Then to its mass, add neutrons—30 in all,
The age when priests (and Christ) are given call.
As Iron-56 stands, most stable of time and space,
Thus our lives shall be, when yielded to His grace
In all of this the bonds shout eight-point-eight
When fusion peaks, new dawn shall propagate
Through life of stars the Spirit breathes
Through crimson blood that iron sheathes
The oxygen in air kindles resurrection's flame
Abundant life is encoded within the Son's name
Even atmospheres bear witness to the cross
The Word is woven through all of cosmos
Thus Nature's Laws pulsate with His decrees
Woven in Love, not random debris.
From stellar breaths to fermions' spins,
Every speck of existence are God's fingerprints.
