Echo Verse The dream always begins the same with soft murmurs murmurs I am in an empty Gothic church alone with whispers whispers Can smell the scent of the candles flickering, moaning moaning The stained glass windows tell biblical stories weeping weeping Have been here before with death, fear, grief, crying crying I don't want to be here ... Echo return not, I scream scream All is quiet in my bedroom and outside the birds sing sing

Your echoed words are very effective, Constance. Sorrowful memories can be kindled in churches. I liked the ending.

Lin, thank you for the compliment and comment, not sure the sponsor will like it, but I wanted to try this Echo Verse Form. I actually hate churches because they remind me of funerals and sweet strinking red roses, the stuff of nightmares, blessings ~
