Echo Verse
The dream always begins the same with soft murmurs
murmurs
I am in an empty Gothic church alone with whispers
whispers
Can smell the scent of the candles flickering, moaning
moaning
The stained glass windows tell biblical stories weeping
weeping
Have been here before with death, fear, grief, crying
crying
I don't want to be here ... Echo return not, I scream
scream
All is quiet in my bedroom and outside the birds sing
sing
