The Death of a Man
He twisted then turned
Writhing in internal pain
As he hopes for the immortal gain
Seeking to relieve him
Of this wretched state
He sighs
As he forced a smile
Walking on rocks
He even forced a truck
Just with the hope
To find a lost will
He is there to all
But within he is long gone
Only waiting for the right time
To be laid down
For we all know the song
That a man is long gone
When his hope is lost.
