12/17/2023 There are always new bridges ahead and new friends to meet… So if a poem gets few comments… do not, do not retreat in defeat! Keep those beautiful eyes on the glory that lies ahead! Place your quill on the paper and keep writing, till it's time to go to be bed! Your life experiences are the gems that you and only you hold. That will blossom before your spiritual eyes into pieces of poetic gold! Use pictures,use music, use God's creattions to get that poet soul dreaming. It's then, on the crests of graceful poetry you'll be joyfully reeling.

You have chosen well with the picture too which is visually gorgeous and accompanies the poem well. My dearest Christina. I see you went over this with great specificity You are know how much I appreciate this. And know i am humbled by your time and your care. I doubt I am liked here, but I do not pen for love or popularity. Jusrt and for truth and clarity. I am not a wit nor a storyteller, others are! I am what you said I am. Elena, thats a genrous comment. Sometimes I forget that my purpise here is absoltely not to be the star on the tree. I dont see pioetry as The Olympics. And that makes me seem like an outsider!!its just I prefer to be an individual. This is not new…i am just quiet ! Am very critical of myself. Wishing you a happy New year and a gtreat Chrsitmas. Seasons, greetings, David, you really have a wish with words that I play admire. Yes, there’s always new horizons to fall and we fall across new friends. It’s amazing to me.. you know that cheerleader for individuality. a crowd pleaser I am not that’s not my goal. Just to learn to be better. This year is one of my major goals… And then to appreciate those who are my friends and those who don’t want to be let them go.! I like that line and I don’t know his name right now, but it was a he. Hi Katem, hope you are ready for Santa. Have any white pizza yet? )) I know when I started, I didn’t enter any contests or anything. I just like doing things my own way…Stubborn I guess..))) But I would like this year to learn how to read more books and read famous poems and that’s how you get to be a great poet. And being nice to other poets when you can and above all being nice to yourself.. and appreciating who you are and that was what this was all about. Thank you my friend.
