Tasmania’s Embrace
In the heart of the Southern Sea
Where the wild winds dance free
Lies a land of rugged grace
Tasmania, a tranquil place.
Mountains rise with ancient might
Cradle peaks in morning light
Forests whisper tales untold
Of times gone by, of hearts bold.
Rivers weave through valleys deep
Secrets in their waters keep
Eucalyptus scents the air
Nature’s beauty everywhere.
Wildlife roams in freedom’s stride
In this haven, they abide
From the wombat’s gentle tread
To the eagle soaring overhead.
Coastal cliffs and sandy shores
Echo with the ocean’s roars
Lighthouses stand, steadfast, tall
Guiding ships through night’s dark call.
In Hobart’s streets, history sings
Of convict tales and bygone kings
Markets buzz with life anew
Colours vibrant, skies so blue.
Tasmania, where hearts find peace
In your embrace, all worries cease
A land of wonder, wild and free
Forever home, you’ll always be.
