"Oh, give me a sunrise, a garden of beautiful flowers, a
symphony of bird songs, and a forest of whispering trees."
Quote by _Constance
Memories shake the ocean of my sleep,
as I set sail into the sunrise of dawn;
I am lost in the hush of dewed flowers,
and a sky of purple and gold fades to gone !
I lay still listening to a bird symphony,
the threads touch my soul and my heart;
morning arrives beautiful and strong,
but, mother why did you have to depart ?
Oh, still in your garden a blue bird sings,
as trees are reflected in a pond you made;
so magical the sky of each veiled sunrise.
these memories part of my dawn parade !
Dear father why did you have to leave me,
now, I find you in speckled drifting dawn clouds;
over years you gave me all you know of the forest.
Now, I walk in dawn's mist with tree-like shrouds.
But, forever the birds will sing your love,
in each sunrise I press you both to my soul;
and with each morning symphony I feel blessed.
though, this heart of mine now has a jagged hole.
