FIRST PLACE

"Oh, give me a sunrise, a garden of beautiful flowers, a symphony of bird songs, and a forest of whispering trees." Quote by _Constance Memories shake the ocean of my sleep, as I set sail into the sunrise of dawn; I am lost in the hush of dewed flowers, and a sky of purple and gold fades to gone ! I lay still listening to a bird symphony, the threads touch my soul and my heart; morning arrives beautiful and strong, but, mother why did you have to depart ? Oh, still in your garden a blue bird sings, as trees are reflected in a pond you made; so magical the sky of each veiled sunrise. these memories part of my dawn parade ! Dear father why did you have to leave me, now, I find you in speckled drifting dawn clouds; over years you gave me all you know of the forest. Now, I walk in dawn's mist with tree-like shrouds. But, forever the birds will sing your love, in each sunrise I press you both to my soul; and with each morning symphony I feel blessed. though, this heart of mine now has a jagged hole.

Dear constance, i think this is one of your best poems ever iv read, but i say this alot altho ofcourse this one stands out for me not just because of the cadence and also imagery and worpdlay, but also how youv expressed emotions is truly soul stirring and very poignant! I dont even know where to begin praising this poetic beauty! From the quote to the lines all throughout! Left me breathless! In awe! Pleasure reading your very sincere write! This is so beautiful and equally touching. You rise and greet each morning with sweet and sad memories of your parents. I can feel the pain you endured when you lost your dear ones at a young age. I can also see you drawing a lot of comfort from nature. Love both your poem and the quote, Constance. All the Best!
