Sun and Moon
I am loved by many stars,
but not the one I yearn for.
So far apart we are,
unable to open love's door.
Your powerful and proud light,
gives me the will to lead.
I brighten up the night,
and my subjects follow me.
I do nothing for you
except watch you from afar.
Though I cannot shine too,
I'm joyful seeing you as you are.
While it does cause me heartache
watching you shine down on others,
I'd rather my heart break,
than curse you as my lover.
