Summer Day
Wind in the air, fair day.
Not the fair we play.
The hay is in the barn.
July heat bearing down.
Sweat upon my brow.
Sowing the seeds of worth.
Plowing future golden waves.
Summer is the season.
Harvest some and wait for more, to come.
Corn is tasseling high, full ears beam.
Beans and tomatoes grow too.
Market place stop, produce bins.
Wind swirling through.
Light dusty day.
Hay is in the mound.
Animals clamor around the barn yard.
Ducks flapping their wings, spraying
water sings.
Cows mooing in the pasture field.
Milks been given, gentle breeze.
Clouds billowing in the sky.
Bustling life below; where gravity goes.
Earth life on the move.
Geese flying high into sun.
The day grows shorter still.
Dill with aromatic smell.
Summer never ends, it seems.
Continuous seasonal fling; birds sing.
