Summer Breeze Please
Summer Breeze Please
10/8/2018
Summer breeze, whispers on the leaves
Flowing through my day
Reminds of child’s play
Sprinklers on the lawn in the Eve
Woken early this morning
Sun streaming through curtain
Slowly still I’m yawning
Early morning dawning
Roll over stroke your cheek
Warmth permeates thru wall
Raise you from your sleep
Sunlight tries to speak
Summer breeze, whispers on the leaves
Flowing through my day
Reminds of child’s play
Sprinklers on the lawn in the Eve
Breakfast bacon baking
Smells of summer waking
Ocean sweet and salty
Long slow walk we’re taking
Walking hand in hand
a lady with her man
Slowly strolling in the sun
Summer has begun
Summer breeze, whispers on the leaves
Flowing through my day
Reminds of child’s play
Sprinklers on the lawn in the Eve
Ice cream cone we share
White cap waves crumple and cave
Summer arrives without care
Warm breeze ruffles through your hair
Outside dining basking in a glow
The colours of love I know
Horizon ablaze setting to amaze
Gods most beautiful show
Summer breeze, whispers on the leaves
Flowing through my day
Reminds me of child’s play
Sprinklers on the lawn in the Eve
Seasons come and pass
Summer fun can’t last
Summers breeze begins it’s freeze
Written in the stars
The sun sets slowly West
Warmth and love were blessed
Long languid evening loving
I love our summers best
Summer breeze, whispers on the leaves
Flowing through my day
Reminds me of child’s play
Sprinklers on the lawn in the Eve
