Streets
Let’s run through the city
Late at night when it’s empty
We can focus on us and
Forget about the morning
Warm up the freezing winds by
Screaming about all of your anxieties.
I’ll shout out all of my problems to
Release the tension in the frigid air
We’ll play ring around the Rosie
Under the bright city streetlights.
We’ll fall down on our asses and
Laugh about all of our insecurities
Let’s jump up and down like kids and
Use our outside voices to wake up everyone.
We’ll start yelling at the top of our lungs
As the sun starts to rise.
If we live like there’s no tomorrow,
I want you to hold me until the end.
If the world ends up crashing together
Be mine until it’s all over.
