Stairway to the Grave
StairWay To The Grave
Ascend far below.
Dirt upon sorrow.
A plot with your name.
Emptiness in vain.
A place where no one can find you.
Buried underneath where the roots grow.
A deceased human remains.
Toiled himself to death to the grain.
Isolation in the grave.
Sky heavy, it starts to rain.
Flowers die sitting next to your tombstone.
No one stopped by to say hello.
Long forgotten from above.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Hues of silhouettes dance around the flame.
Self-surrender, you're to blame.
Can you tolerate the reckoning?
Unforgiven, judgment, go insane.
Overburden guilt, only heart break.
Stairway to the grave.
Roots grow new flowers from ash.
Life is short, nothing will last.
